이 네덜란드 시계는 목재는 라커칠을 한 마호가니와 밤나무로 만들었다.
우리네 동네에서도 흔하게 보던 추가 달린 시계다. 웃기는 것은 도르래를 이용하다 보니
한번 씩은 도르래를 바꿔줘야 한다. 벽에 걸어놓으면 사진처럼 추가 엄청나게 길어서
벽 전체를 다 차지하게 된다.
작동은 잘한다. 차임벨은 가냘프지만 청아하다. 시간마다 울리고 반시간에 한번씩 울린다.

This clock is made in Friesland . It is a part of the Netherlands .
This is a rear hard-to-find, "Stool Clock" (in Dutch-stoel klok),
so-named because it looks a bit like a small stool or chair with the four ball type feet standing on the platform to which it is attached.
This very attractive stool clock has it all.
The typical Dutch whimsical Mermaids on either side of the case back.
Every visible piece of wood and the face of this clock has been hand painted with the traditional Dutch symbols.
It contains a movement of seven days.
This lovely item chimes every half and whole hour with a beautiful sound.
The clockwork of this item is in a good conditions
This all has been done by a very good-20 year experience- clockmaker.
