이 네덜란드 시계는 목재는 라커칠을 한 마호가니와 밤나무로 만들었다.
우리네 동네에서도 흔하게 보던 추가 달린 시계다. 웃기는 것은 도르래를 이용하다 보니
한번 씩은 도르래를 바꿔줘야 한다. 벽에 걸어놓으면 사진처럼 추가 엄청나게 길어서
벽 전체를 다 차지하게 된다.
작동은 잘한다. 차임벨은 가냘프지만 청아하다. 시간마다 울리고 반시간에 한번씩 울린다.
70센티 길이에 넓이 20센티 깊이가 15센티다. 이 시계에 대한 설명을 영어 원문으로 그대로 옮긴다. 언젠가는 번역을 해놓겠지 Brief history:
The clockwork is made by the best clock company in Holland, namely the famous Warmink company.
These type of clocks were produced between 1950 and 1960.
The company which was located in Almelo,
the Netherlands was founded in 1929 produced quality clocks.
However, after 75 years in business and craftsmanship dating back to the 17th century
he Warmink family closed the doors of their company forever.
So the clocks that exist today will never be manufactured again
